The 8SAFE label identifies a recipe that is made without any of the top eight allergens: wheat, milk (dairy), soy, egg, peanut, tree nuts, fish and shellfish. The label also takes it one step further to exclude all gluten (not just wheat).
In doing so, the amount of people who can safely eat an 8SAFE recipe becomes ridiculously inclusive. And that’s the beauty of it. 8SAFE recipes aren’t intended strictly for those with restrictions — you can be anywhere on the spectrum from avoiding all or none of these trigger foods and be able to enjoy these recipes.
